Tee Off at Reston National Golf Course This Summer

When the sun is shining and the summer breeze is blowing, the last thing you should do is stay inside! Get outside and enjoy some fresh air while the weather is warm—maybe by rounding up a group of friends or coworkers and teeing off at the Reston National Golf Course for a day of outdoorsy fun.

The golf course is a perfect spot to enjoy nature because it’s actually devoted to protecting the environment and natural resources, including the local habitat, which is why Audubon International has certified it as a Cooperative Sanctuary. Mother Nature is present in all her glory throughout the gently rolling, tree-lined course, designed for novice golfers and seasoned athletes alike. After playing nine or 18 holes, head to the clubhouse to refuel. The newly opened Bunker Bar sits out on the deck and offers cold cocktails and beer along with classic American cuisine, from steak sandwiches to wings. You can even enjoy a grilled summer fruit or vegetable salad on the side of your main dish at The Bunker Bar.
